A Skull Emerges

Not to be outdone, 'Skulls of Luci' by Sam Spratt grab the headlines.

'Emerge from Wander' sells for 88.88 ETH ($171,838 USD) to Bob Loukas.

It is 1 of 2 originally stolen Skulls.

Via Sam Spratt:
"It's been bizarre and tragic, the theft of Anchor Drops. I never really had the answer of what should happen to the stolen Skulls. But out of nowhere today, the Skull taken from Anchor found a new home that to me: was better than any outcome I'd come up with by miles. Bob Loukas, someone already on the Council who has championed Luci immensely as it's evolved, who has dedicated time to deliberations, gatherings, and who Anchor respects quite a lot, collected it.

It's all bittersweet even to have this sold knowing thieves profited, but I feel Bob saved it from a far worse future.  It's funny, these jpegs. The stories behind them. However absurd.

But this one has a lot of history, both beautiful and damned. Thank you Bob. Thank you Anchor."

Meanwhile, 'Masks of Luci' 1/1/613 by Sam Spratt approach a $1M secondary volume milestone.

9 sales within 24 hours bring it to $970k USD across 88 total, an average of just over $11,000 per Mask. Lowest list in the collection is $14,600 USD.

Finally, it is 'Player' /256 seeing two sales for 6.5 ETH and 4.8 WETH.

The Art of Entanglement

Decohering Delineation at NXT Museum

'Decohering Delineation' by Entangled Others sells for $32,000 USD to an anonymous collector through ARTXCODE.

It is an adaptation of a work that debuted at NXT Museum as part of 'Realtime' Exhibition, curated by Charlotte Kent and Jesse Damiani.

The collector received both the NFT and specific files for 3 panel screens to display in high resolution.

The artwork explores "the entanglement of neural networks and oceanic data as an experimental exploration of ways to make tangible, through the use of quantum computation and neural networks, the innate interconnected nature of ecosystems and specimens, artificial & natural."

RD Report

Stolen artworks are such complicated scenarios, especially when there are both serious ETH/USD totals and access privileges at play. Seeing one reach a stable home does not solve it, but it does close a loop. That counts for something.

Fresh week kicks off tomorrow - let's see what it brings!

Today Reported:
Sales thresholds of 3 ETH+ Collection, 0.25 ETH+ 1/1, 0.6 ETH+ 1/1/X, and 0.2 ETH+ Edition
