Art Blocks collections lead the day:
Significantly, the above 'Gazers' sale pushes the collection over 10,000 ETH in total secondary volume.
Via Matt Kane:
"I couldn't help but notice... 40 lunations later, 1000 Gazers have generated 40,000 unique lunar cycle designs & surpassed 10,000 ETH in secondary sales. Intriguingly, 10,000/40,000 = 0.25, exactly the settlement price at mint.
Probably means nothing, but it's fascinating when the tiniest details come full circle at the intersection of art & commerce. Afterall, there are no coincidences. Ever."
Tuesday, February 18:
'Geometric Fluidity' by Botto with Verse | SOLOS: Up to 1,000 editions available at 0.1 ETH each
I've enjoyed a few of Matt Kane's recent tweets. One re: Sam Spratt. The other re: Gazers.
"There are elements of nurture in each [art and price]"
"the intersection of art & commerce"
Price, sales, numbers, etc are tricky topics at times. Kane shares a balanced perspective, which is refreshing to see. It doesn't mean everything. It definitely means something.
Today Reported:
Sales thresholds of (USD) $10k+ Collection, 0.25 ETH+ 1/1, 0.75 ETH+ 1/1/X, and 0.25 ETH+ Edition artworks
The 45th ART of 2025 is the intersection of Modest and Refik Anadol. I love where this one landed. Justin Wetch nailed the palette and textures.
