After a down to the wire vote with a razor thin margin, 'Err Hold' by Botto stays with the Botto treasury (for now).
The proposal that would have allowed the Kanbas Collection to purchase the Genesis Period artwork for 70 ETH required a super majority of 2/3rds or 66.67%. Voting concluded at 66.29%.
A competing and anonymous 75 ETH offer remains live on SuperRare and focus now shifts to a decision there.
Via Simon Hudson:
"would expect this goes to auction with 75E reserve if it fails. anon bidder said they would be open to it and made offer as proof of funds."

'Freedom Isn't Given, It's Ridden' by FedosArt: The Memes by 6529 card opens at 10:40am ET, up to 329 editions at 0.06529 ETH each
The thrill and the agony of a 0.38% voting margin.
I entered into several productive dialogues debating pros and cons of the Botto decision. While I initially felt strongly that the Kanbas Collection is an ideal home, I better understand the position of some DAO members who place higher value on the limited Genesis Period artworks in the treasury.
If this turns into an outcome via which the artwork takes in near 100 ETH or more, that feels like a solid position. If this turns into a 70 vs. 75 ETH outcome with an anonymous home, that feels like a miscalculation.
Let's see how this one shakes out.
