RD Report

Think about all of the art sales happening outside of the major aggregators right now.

You have four auction events in progress, undoubtedly (cumulatively) totaling 1M+. You have a few artists with strong 1/1s sales through galleries or direct. You have two incoming releases - Higgs and the remainder of Sarin's 1/1s - that won't be. You have Bold, who has totaled nearly $50K via low cost editions.

It's important to keep the above in mind when considering the current state of affairs because if you look solely at OpenSea, Magic Eden, etc charts you'd think the sky is falling. It's gloomy enough as it is, but there is always room for quality art and execution.

Today Reported:
Sales thresholds of 3 ETH+ Collection, 0.25 ETH+ 1/1, 0.7 ETH+ 1/1/X, and 0.2 ETH+ Edition artworks

CATCH UP: The DAM Show
We welcomed Nicole Giles of Christie's and artists Pindar Van Arman, Claire Silver, and Jesse Woolston to talk "Augmented Intelligence".

I thoroughly enjoyed the time with this quartet. Ample insights that set the comments ablaze. Thanks for attending and being a part of it! Watch the livestream recording here.

CATCH UP: 2-4 Minutes of Masquerade
This series exists to update the Sam Spratt Masquerade in progress

Episode 10 (February 26th) showcases live regions and filters on Nifty Gateway, as well as feels and (Super) Cope.

ART Runners.

The 56th design of 2025 is framed around Bank Runners by Lucho Poletti. Justin Wetch and I enjoyed reworking the BTC messaging into - what else? - ART messaging. The final flourish was bringing a Grifter by XCOPY into the banknote as its central character.
