Single Dot Check

67 Single Checks exist in the Jack Butcher and Visualize Value ecosystem. Each now possesses a single dot, courtesy of Jack.

The single dot is, of course, edition '1' on Rodeo, the scarcest at 272 editions.

How was Butcher able to distribute so many?

On July 24, 2024, typo.eth had the foresight to mint a whopping 99 of the first editions (for $30 total).

On January 12, 2025, typo.eth transferred 64 of those editions to Visualize Value in exchange for 'Checks 500', a single check.

When you consider the origin of this trade and that a single check today is roughly 20 ETH to create from scratch (it requires 64 Originals), that is quite a journey.

RD Report

The digital art market as a whole remains asleep. Regardless, there are always highlights.

The Ringer sale was a good one, happening between two Texans - OldSchoolFromTexas and Balon - and included the signed Cherniak print.

It has been a few days of shine for Beeple's 'Group Effort' with 'PROOF', seeing several sales for the edition of 100.

Looking for a Beeple of arguably best value? My current pick is this Artifact from the Studio Grand Opening.

Catch Up: The DAM Show
The first 2025 installment of The DAM (Digital Art Market) Show was a blast!

Alpha Centauri Kid appeared live from the in-progress Muse Facktory, and we had a thought provoking conversation. Niftytime joined me for a glance at the art market. Blondie appeared live from South Carolina for Sam Spratt appreciation (and speculation) and more.

Watch (or listen) to it here.

Mark your calendars for next Monday at 12:00pm ET.
