BIANCONCHAIN follows up a single check acquisition to close January with a single check creation to open February.
'Checks 7321' by Jack Butcher | Visualize Value is acquired via burn as the collector invites others to follow along with their 3rd single check:
"We're having fun with the Blockchain here while documenting the whole process."
The 'Checks - VV Originals' Collection also sees 20 sales for 6.48 ETH, with list now at 0.3 ETH.
'GIGACHAD' by Beeple sells for 19 WETH to Jarheadius.
It is the first sale in nearly a month for the April, 2021 edition of 100, originally minted with Nifty Gateway as part of 'SPRING/SUMMER COLLECTION 2021'.
Lowest list is now 29.8969 ETH.
Monday, February 3:
'Cure³' with fxhash: 11 generative artists with digital sales opening at 9:00am ET
Monday, February 3:
'Sit, Wait, Watch Them Burn' by Niro Perrone with The Memes by 6529: up to 329 editions available at 0.06529 ETH each
After a fairly active Sunday in digital art, the world wakes up to a crypto pullback.
The macro landscape has certainly complicated an art surge, hasn't it? Volatility in either direction typically means a slowdown, and it's been a tough stretch.
My own red flags won't raise until/unless April comes with no forward progress. In the meantime, it's business as usual in the Wild West, and a reminder that USD matters (but you probably already knew that).
