24 Hours of Art: April 17, 2025

NODE Is Yours

24 Hours of Art had the honor of breaking an important story this morning.

It reflects on a sit down with Meyer "Micky" Malka, Ribbit Capital founder, investor, and entrepreneur at heart.

The Infinite Node is a non-profit foundation now backed by a $25M grant, making it the best funded digital art focused institution in the world, and NODE is its flagship opening in Palo Alto, California.

Needless to say, this is a milestone moment for digital art.

All That Remains

It begins with 'REMNANT #1' by XCOPY selling for 38.835 ETH ($61,297 USD) to BBA from Kelly.

The sale via SuperRare Private Sales is an all-time high for the 1/1/250 Collection, originally launched with SuperRare in November 2023.

Via BBA:
"Remnants are, as a whole, my favorite XCOPY collection and the most artistically intriguing.

I see them as shattered souls, fragments of chaos, and the more I spent time staring at them and discovering new details, the more deeply I appreciate the collection.

The fact that X made each Remnant manually highlights the significance and dedication behind this series.

All Remnants are unique, but Remnant #1, specially created for the RarePass: Genesis #1 owner, has unique attributes and is arguably the coolest of them all.

As a collector, I always think about what makes my collection unique, and Remnant #1 is the perfect addition to achieve precisely that."

Three additional sales follow for 11, 10 and 9 ETH, making it a 68.835 ETH volume day in total.

Lowest list in the collection is now 11 ETH.
