Not one, but two pairs of 'Skulls of Luci' 1/1/50 and their associated 'Masks of Luci' 1/1/613 by Sam Spratt sell to the same anonymous wallet for 185 ETH total:
'Masks of Luci' see two more sales, as Defaced returns and acquires 'Tug the War' for $12,750 USD, while 'Indus Wanders' sells for 5.5 WETH to CssualCollector.
The anonymous wallet was not finished.
'TIME The Future of Business (Beeple Edition)' is acquired for 85 ETH, also from Hanrgb.
The artwork was originally minted in May, 2021 as Beeple's first SuperRare mint in collaboration with TIME and its May 10th / 17th 2021 issue.
This quote from Beeple is contained in the artwork's description:
“People have been creating digital artwork for the last 20 years and it has just as much craft, message, intent, as anything made on a canvas and has just as much ability to affect people emotionally and intellectually. It has been exciting through NFT’s to see people start to realize the value of this type of work and I think we’re just at the beginning of the next chapter of art history.”
Two collections by William Mapan with Verse conclude their respective sales for $154,320 USD.
'Sketchbook B' closes its auctions at $1,602 per artwork, totaling $96,120 USD.
'Études' closes its public auction at $300 per artwork, totaling $58,200 USD between phases.
Via Leyla, Verse:
"Sketchbooks are usually private, places for quiet experimentation. But with William Mapan, they became collective. Between Études and Sketchbook B, nearly 300,000 works were generated by our community.
Études, unfolding across ten phases, mirror the evolution of an artistic process, like watching a sketchbook fine-tune itself. Sketchbook B is the culmination of that journey, a pinnacle of exploration.
Together, they form part of Mapan’s ongoing search for artistic expression, a way of leaving his mark on the world."
Two XCOPY Collections see strong secondary volume:
'REMNANTS' /250 by XCOPY (with SuperRare) sees ascending sales of 12, 12.75, 14 and 15 ETH. The activity pushes current collection list to 16 ETH, with high offer at 12 WETH.
'ICXN' /500 by XCOPY (with Art Blocks Engine) sees 9 sales for 33.38 ETH (avg: 3.71 ETH), with 6 acquired by Waukena. Collection list is now 4.5 ETH, with high offer at 3.5 WETH.
