‘REAL ART’ by Beeple sells for $200,600 USD to The Culture Vault of Raoul Pal. He thanks curated auction platform Fair Warning for a “wonderfully smooth auction experience”, as well as his “gorgeous Blonde accomplice”. Beeple follows up: “is that a banana in your wallet or are you happy to see digital art crushing?”

The 1/1 artwork is Beeple Everyday #5195, originally created on July 27, 2021 with the description “building the biggest joke ever made.” It was later minted in June 2022 and acquired by Oysterfarmer.
