Thank You!

RD here with a Thanksgiving curveball.

Whether you are a Pro or a Free subscriber to 24 Hours of Art, you have shaped our experience this year (and likely beyond). While intrinsic motivation is something I value, I’m no fool. Without you and your signal, 24 Hours of Art would not exist in its current form. It is an honor to collide here each and every day.

I wrote an X post this morning as an answer to an important question: why the hell am I/we here? When I say “here”, I am referring to the blockchain-based digital art space.

Abbreviated conclusions: art is more important than ever, it is changing in real time, it is connected to its also changing market, and above all, art - to me - is about the people.

An excerpt:

“Some will tell you that the space remains relevant and largely becomes contemporary art. Some will tell you that the space is dead and eaten by traditional infrastructure. Some will regularly change their opinions and sound very certain when they do.

The overwhelmingly likely reality is that we are hurtling into a difficult and messy middle. One that is not deterministic but is being influenced now by each and every one of us in a near-infinite collision of butterfly effects. No pressure.

The future is us. It is you. It is your vision, your visuals, your words, your context, your tone, your associations, your investments, your prioritizations, your curations.

What a time to be alive. I am grateful for you, and I am grateful to be on this journey with you, wherever it leads.

Remember this: No risk, no story.”

Here is the full post. Happy Thanksgiving.
