He recounted a story of exploration while building networked dot art, ultimately finding a fix for the original CryptoPunks V1 contract bug. The fix allows for trading of V1 Punks without requiring token wrappers.

A big day for CryptoPunks collections follows:

The main ‘CryptoPunks’ collection sees 325.59 ETH in 24 hour volume, led by Top Hat ‘CryptoPunk #8870’ being acquired for 130 ETH.

The V1 collection sees 161.94 ETH in 24 hour volume, including the first transaction (Punk #8411) leveraging jalil’s fix.

“I can’t overstate how big of a deal this is. A CryptoPunks V1 just sold safely on the original contract, unwrapped” tweeted Sean Bonner.
