‘monogrid 8d’ by Kim Asendorf is acquired for 20,000 XTZ ($7,420 USD) by MrMerge. The collection of 256 real-time animations was originally created in October 2021. The collector reflects: “I've wanted one of these for the past year, so happy to finally add one to my collection. Evidently, there isn't many sellers. Just had to bite the bullet in the end and pay up.”

The 1-of-1 art market sees a big loan via Gondi, as ‘Bitcoin Protestors’ by XCOPY generates $310,000 USDC principal at 15% APR over 90 days. The artwork was originally created in December 2020 as part of the CoinDesk Most Influential series on Nifty Gateway.

“Luci’s New Home”. A new SamSpratt site launches, and it is an artwork in itself. Each artwork and collector is layered with iconography and lore. I’m still exploring it myself, and it’s an intriguing example of what is possible with a multi-year body of work. Spratt highlights Chikai as essential to the endeavor, as well as a host of contributors.
