‘CryptoPunks’ top the headlines. Cowboy ‘CryptoPunk #7892’ sells for 169 ETH ($531.248 USD), leading 268.75 ETH in total 24 hour collection volume (4 sales).
The Cowboy is 1 of 142 Punks with the trait, and many discuss its standing. MP9X says “the relevance that Western culture has always had in the art world is extremely important” while Stone calls Cowboys “the rebels of CryptoPunks”.
House of Spratt:
It is all Sam Spratt on Gondi, with two ‘Skulls of Luci’ loans and two ‘Masks of Luci’ sales.
The first Skull loan is a refinancing of the original ‘The Blueprint Skull’ with terms on $200,000 USDC principal improving to 15.29 from 17% APR ahead of a January 17th loan due date. The second is a new loan for ‘Recoated’ of $120,000 USDC principal at 16% APR over 30 days.
On the Masks front, ‘True Smell’ sells for $13,000 USDC to CssualCollector and ‘Undone Regurgitations’ sells for $12,575 USDC.
XCOPY Ecosystem:
‘Grifter #198’ by XCOPY sells for 11.69 WETH ($36,747 USD) from CssualCollector, two weeks after being acquired for 11.25 WETH ($33,139 USD). Lowest list in the 1/1/666 ‘Grifters’ collection is now 13.69 ETH.
‘RESIST’ by XCOPY sells for 11.3 WETH ($35,521 USD) to randomzhki. It is the first secondary sale for the editioned artwork of 25 since early August, when one sold for 27.4 ETH ($107,180 USD). The edition was originally minted December 31, 2019 via KnownOrigin.

Breaking news as of this writing is NFT Paris announcing the cancellation of this year’s event after four annual installments. They express pride in what was built and thank past participants. It couldn’t have been an easy decision, and we wish them all the best.
