RD Report
An edition that was effectively locked up for almost a year sees one shake loose. It’s a reminder that for certain artworks, these types of occasions may become rarer and rarer. In the XCOPY world, that certainly applies to ‘Last Selfie’ and ‘MORTAL’, and I’d say ‘The State of Us (blue)’ has as good a case as any for joining them (*20 editions vs. 10 for the other two). It is my personal favorite.
It’s always fun seeing an artist attention spike leading to collectors diving deeper into their past works and acquiring deeper cut editions. We have seen this with die with the most likes and Alotta Money following the events of the weekend.
