Audiovisual Celebration
“It's nearly five years since I began a series of generative audiovisual artworks…” says 0xDEAFBEEF.
The artist reflects on a 224 artwork journey that began on March 12, 2021 with the mint of ‘DEAFBEEF Series 0: Synth Poems - Token 0’, each containing “precise descriptions of the systems that produced them stored in a way that has an aura of permanence in the desires and minds of its users”.
The final token was officially minted on December 27, 2025 as the 8th in Series 5 (the sixth overall Series): ‘DEAFBEEF Series 5: Advection - Token 223’.
It now resides in The Kanbas Collection, acquired for 100 ETH ($293,512 USD).

Rose originally created the 52 second editioned animation as the The Memes by 6529 Season 6 finale artwork.
