"Today early AI art has a museum" announces collector Jediwolf.

Under The GAN is unveiled as a digital museum, the product of a multi-year collecting journey with this mission: "Reconstruct the earliest chapter of AI art before it disappeared beneath everything that came after".

Works in the museum range from 2015-26 and are separated into four eras:

  • Awakening, 2015-26, 34 works

  • Forming, 2017-18, 54 works

  • Imagining, 2018-20, 74 works

  • Manifesting, 2020-26, 36 works
