The ‘Skulls of Luci’ collection sees a new all-time high in ETH, as ‘Foreshadow’ by Sam Spratt is acquired for 166 ETH ($384,253 USD) by A_OF from PBL4 via Gondi.

Its associated Mask is also collected for 6 ETH, pushing the cumulative total to 172 ETH.

The pseudonymous collector - and new Council of Luci member - adds the pairing to a collection including 1-of-1 XCOPY artwork ‘T H I N K’ and ‘Fidenza #467’ by Tyler Hobbs.

Ben Strauss concludes the final chapter of his pendulum studies - ‘Prologue: First Contact’ - and pairs it with the debut of a new “Splinter Mint” mechanic with Transient Labs. It sells out for 10.56 ETH in total.

Each of the six artwork series began as a 1-of-1. If collected in the first hour at a list of 1.76 ETH, the artwork stayed that way. Four of the six followed this path to collectors OG (No. 1), m0dest (No. 2), thefunnyguysnft (No. 4), and gpebbles (No. 6).

If not collected in the first hour, the edition size doubled and price halved. ‘First Contact No. 5’ concluded as an edition of 2, seeing chikai and wapshoptrade each collect at 0.88 ETH.

A final artwork expanded (editions) and halved (price) until its final scheduled phase, subsequently seeing 32 editions collected at 0.055 ETH.
