‘Wrapped Ether Rock #91’: $380,000 USDC

An infamous EtherRock changes hands via Gondi’s sell and repay functionality, repaying an active $175,000 USDC, 18% APR, 60 Day loan in the process. Originally launched in 2017 just after CryptoPunks, 100 EtherRocks exist. The “Wrapped” distinction refers to owners wrapping their Rocks to effectively become an ERC721 token (Rocks preceded the 721 standard) in order to transact on marketplaces.

Two generative digital artworks (plus optional prints) by Velitchkova sell to Ned Ryerson and Mary Pat Bing for a combined $36,000 USD. The 2022 and 2024 artworks are part of the artist’s ‘ATMOSPHERE, Catalogue 2025’ presented with ARTXCODE. The artwork description to ‘WIND’ (pictured at far right) opens: “Why is it that the wind cannot be seen? We only know it through the things it moves. The trees bending, the dust lifted, the skin touched. But it hides…”
