Art Market Highlights

Do Something:
‘Do Nothing (new variant)’ by XCOPY sells for 63.8 ETH to an anonymous collector from Endlager. The deal takes place via Gondi, “brokered from Marfa” by Eli Scheinman.
The edition of 15 was originally minted in January 2021 via KnownOrigin and shares its name with 1/1 ‘Do Nothing’, in the zontedvault collection. Both of the artworks have a one word description: “Sometimes”.
It last sold in July for $130,876 USDC (also via Gondi) to Raoul Pal and takes a significant step forward with this approximately $250,000 USDC equivalent.
Immortal Loan:
‘MORTAL’ /10 by XCOPY lands a $400,000 USDC loan via Gondi.
The terms are 16.87% APR over 90 Days with a $2,943 USDC origination fee. This is an upgrade from its previous loan of $180,000 USDC, taken out more than a year ago and since repaid.
Iconic Still Life:
‘Window Still Life 001’ by John Karel sells for 14,000 XTZ ($8,106 USD) to Beldrueger.
The collector offers context on the edition of 25:
“The most iconic collection on Hic et Nunc was John Karel’s window series, with countless tributes and hundreds of iterations. It all started here, with Window Still Life 001. I've been stalking these listings for years, and with the latest market downturn, knew it was time to collect. There is no more representative work of the HEN era than this.”
