Flower Origin ‘Winds of Yawanawa #412’ by Refik Anadol sells for 5.95 ETH, almost exactly two months after selling for 4.5 BETH. The lowest listed Flower (of 69 total) in the collection is now 7.91 ETH.

‘Gondi Vault #847’ sells for 5.18 ETH to NFTLaurent, and it contains 1 of the 55 editioned artwork ‘pale blue death (a color study)’ by Alpha Centauri Kid. The collector adds the precursor to his full set of ‘The Great Color Study’, among other a.c.k. artworks, on the same day the artist releases the article “why do i create art?”

While the sale of any XCOPY 1/1 artwork would make for a massive event and there are likelier candidates to see a soon-ish sale (e.g. ‘NGMI’), I continue to reflect on this one: ‘The Doomed (mono)’.

The Doomed feels like one of the most differentiated XCOPY symbols, and this 1/1 sits at the top of five artwork variants. With the attainable set (not very attainable, but you know what I mean) of The Doomed - base edition of 100, Black & Red of 15, Red of 10, and Black & Green of 6 - having been a topic for many high end XCOPY collectors, there can only be 1 when it comes to the mono. It is currently listed for $2,300,000 USDC via Gondi, and I wonder whether it makes a headline this year.
